Why did Twos start?
Twos was created to have a quick, private, and organized place to write, remember, and share *things*
Social media is only designed for public information, so Twos was created to have a safe place to write *things* down. Later—from the same place—you can choose to share some *things* to connect with others
What does Twos mean?
Twos stands for the original concept of a two sided platform: private + public
Every*thing* you write in Twos is originally private, but you can share certain *things* to connect with people
The peace sign (Twos) was the original share and "like" button to spread peace on the public side
Functionality
How do I select *things*?
Select *things* to take action on multiple *things* at once
On mobile, swipe any*thing* to the left ⬅️ to select it. Then, tap other *things* to select them.
Long press other *things* to select all *things* in between
On web, click the dot to the right of any*thing* to start selecting
Shift + Click to select all *things* in between
Click "OK" to stop selecting
How do I complete *things*?
On mobile, swipe any*thing* to the right to complete it
On web, select *things* with the select button on the right -> Format -> Complete
Also, you can use the Cmd/Ctrl + D keyboard shortcut

Is there a faster way to indent *things*?
Yes, place your cursor at the start of any*thing* and press the Space bar
Press the Delete key to outdent
How do I share a list?
Press the more button to the right of the list name, then press "Share list"
You can share a list with a live link, the text, or collaborate with other Twosers.
Can I use Twos offline?
Yes, we have offline support for the iOS app, Android app, desktop app, and website at www.TwosApp.com
You can write and edit *things*, create lists, and set reminders all offline
If you set reminders on my iPad will they appear on my phone?
Yes, reminders show up on your iPad, iPhone, and Apple Watch
How do I export my things?
On mobile, tap the more button to the right of the list name, tap Share list, and share your list as text, TXT, MD, PDF, or print the list.
On web, follow the same steps as mobile.
To export all of your information from Twos, click "Export as text" in the side menu -> settings -> export
Can I collaborate on a list with someone?
Yes, you can collab with other users and invite new users to collaborate with you
To collaborate, click on the list actions (more button to the right of the list name) > collab
I signed up with Apple/Google, how do I login to the Chrome Extension?
Login with Apple/Google has not yet been added to the Chrome Extension
You can add a username/password login by using the Side menu → Settings → Edit Profile → Add a username/password login
I turned on "Hide completed *things*," but completed *things* are still shown?
The user setting for "Hide completed *things*" applies to all new days and lists
It is possible your list was created before you turned on the user setting
You can turn on "Hide completed *things*" in the list's settings if it was created previously (list actions → more options → info → hide complete *things*)
Some of my calendar events are duplicated?
If you turn off the calendar with duplicated events, wait a few seconds, and then turn it back on it should be fixed
Also note that if you connect your calendar on multiple devices, they may also be duplicated
All calendar syncing is done through the native calendar application (i.e. Apple Calendar for iOS). If a calendar is not syncing it may not be added to the native calendar or the native calendar may not have synced yet
Please let us know if none of those solutions work :)
Can I attach files and PDFs?
We currently don't support file attachments as they are much more expensive to store than plain text
Adding file attachments would most likely require us to charge a mandatory subscription
For now, many people store files in Google Drive or Dropbox and then save links in Twos
Why can't I zoom or use keyboard shortcuts on the desktop app?
You most likely downloaded the iOS version on your Mac. Please download our real desktop app on https://www.TwosApp.com/download

What are upgrades?
Upgrades are features that are not crucial to the initial experience for writing *things* down
These include templates, AI, hyperlinks, custom colors, highlights, your week, multiple accounts, alerts, and more
We will continue to add new features and customizations overtime
Is each upgrade only $2?
Yes, each upgrade is currently only $2, or 200 coins, for life
Can I receive free upgrades?
Yes, you can earn free upgrades by completing the Twos Clues and earning coins

Are my *things* safe?
Yes, your *things* are encrypted at rest and in transit
Security will always be one of our top priorities
Can I change the language of the app?
Unfortunately, we only support English right now so we can stay nimble as a small team
We plan to support all languages soon as we believe Twos is a tool everyone can benefit from :)
We do support multiple languages for automatic date detection for reminders (side menu -> settings -> preferences -> events & reminders -> auto-detect reminder language)
Can you help recover deleted lists and *things*?
You can now recover deleted lists and *things* in side menu -> more > trash
Your trash will be permanently deleted after 30 days
Why hasn't there been a new Android release in a while?
Google updated their minimum requirement for their API version in 2024. We use currently use an older version of Android in our mobile app so we are not able to make releases until we update them. We are currently working on a v4 of Twos to fix this issue.
How can I support Twos?
