- MAYHEM by Lady Gaga. The Beast is the best track it gave me goosebumps the first time I heard it. It's definitely giving Phil Collins vibes but LG is my #1 artist of all time so i'm 🅱️ased here.
- PRINCESS OF POWER (DELUXE) by MARINA. The way I would listen to leaks from Telegram even with funny audio watermarks because I was that #obsessed. I love how some of it is inspired by retro video games and it's just pop perfection 😙🤌. No skips.
- EUSEXUA Afterglow by FKA twigs. I love working out and cleaning my room, or even just dancing to this album. I could listen to it on repeat and not get tired after. Every song is a masterpiece.
- Sincerely: P.S. by Kali Uchis. Kali is one of the best artists I've discovered this year and this album has NO SKIPS. God I love her beautiful voice.
- Everybody Scream by Florence + The Machine. This I did not expect to be on the list. It became my go-to music to listen to during a typhoon last month. Top favs - Everybody Scream, Sympathy Magic, Buckle & Music by Men.
- Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party by Hayley Williams. When I first played it and in Ice In My OJ, she sang "I got ice in my OJ, I'm a cold, hard bitch..." I was like wait that's me rn I'm literally drinking orange juice with ice 😂. So then I knew it was gonna be a banger album. I loved her previous album FLOWERS for VASES so I knew this one wouldn't disapoint.
- Addison by Addison Rae. I was always fascinated by her when she dropped the AR - EP featuring an unreleased original track called Nothin' On But The Radio by Gaga. I think that's when I knew she was something lol. Everything she does is amazing and she's actually smart for working with two female-only producers on this record.
- No Rain, No Flowers by The Black Keys. Who doesn't love Dan Auerbach, one of the best rock music producers (Ultraviolence, Turn Blue, Sunlight In The Shadows to name a few). This album has ZERO skips as well. I love the song called "On Repeat" and it has been on repeat 😆.
- Balloonerism by Mac Miller. Saw some ppl tweeting listening to it feels eerie and they were right. I love what he wrote in Manakins - "Educational system, but I feel we only learn from change." Also the telephone ringing gave me chills but this album is so good! Another skip-less record.
- Sunlight In The Shadows by Miles Kane. My Love, one of the best tracks off the album is so good it's giving Beatles nostalgia. Listening to Love Is Cruel felt like a throwback to The Last Shadow Puppets era but in a new way. Always In Over My Head, Electric Flower, Walk On The Ocean - come on they're so good 🫠!
