- Allow me to reorder all things. Including events and reminders created in other lists. It's frustrating that they are locked on top. I'd like to plan my day in the morning, and drag tasks and events into sequential order, but it's not currently possible for task showing as reminders from another list.
- Another use case: I like to make a "Top 3 Tasks" heading and drag 3 important tasks under it. If some of my most important tasks are from reminders or events, they can't be included in this section. The forced ordering of the things with events and reminders doensn't add value IMO
- When moving a thing with nested items, the nested items should move with it. Currently they stay in the original list but now they've lost context.
- This applies to dragging items within a note, and also sending them to another note. If I have a task with 3 children tasks (all connected), they don't move together when I send the task to another list.
- I could do this with a sublist but that takes way too many clicks if you do this regularly.
- Set default thing type for events (bullet instead of dash for example, to distinguise between notes and events. Like bullet journaling)
- (Subjective) UX is a bit busy with many icons and colors and fonts in your face. Examples:
- Mix of many sizes of text, in black and grey, different spacing
- purple AI buttons, green sublist arrows, 6 dots for dragging, etc. There are so many icons everywhere.
- Completed to dos are green. They become the most noticable color on the screen. I would expect the opposite (fade them out since they are done)
- I can't find a good method of selecting all text in a list (CMD+A) on desktop app.
- If you open a list, then select all (Cmd+A) it selects all text outside of the note as well (including sidebar menu, etc.). I can't imagine a scenario where this would be the desired behavior from a user POV
- If you click once more to bring the cursor into the list, it only selects all text within that "thing". You also can't highlight all text in the list with your mouse.
- Ideally there would be an easier way than selecting with the mouse using the dots on the right side.
- I receive reminders for things which I’ve already completed. Ideally the reminder would not happen if the task (or any type of thing) is already marked as complete.
- Nice to have:
- ✓ Easy way to log an event in the past, which also creates a calendar event.
