Self Awareness and Sensitivity are the same thing - and they really are a superpower!

- People say that “self awareness” is the super power for self-growth/self-improvement
- That you can’t change and grow/improve what you’re not aware of
- Well, “being sensitive” is the same frickin thing!
- Being sensitive just means you’re super aware of internal feedback
- (feedback that everyone is probably getting but most people aren’t noticing / aware of)
- Which then allows you to follow that feedback and grow/align/iterate SO much faster than if you weren’t aware of it
- Awareness/sensitivity really IS. A super power
- Viewing sensitivity as a “weakness” is completely missing the point. It’s like saying “awareness” is a weakness
- If you have a scale (scientific instrument?) that’s highly sensitive, would you call that “weak”? No, it’s a really tuned in, dialed in scale! It would allow you to do WAY better, more accurate, dialed in work then a less sensitive tool
- Getting feedback is CRUCIAL to any type of positive growth (imagine trying to develop this app without any feedback from users. You’d be flying blind and probably building something that isn’t actually helpful!)
- Being “sensitive” is just being super aware and tuned in to internal feedback from your body/mind/emotions
- And make no mistake - your emotions are ABSOLUTELY crucial feedback and guiding you towards how to live in a more aligned, authentic, harmonious way (if you know how to interpret their signals)
- The more sensitive you are, the more capacity you have to GROW (and much faster, and in the right direction) because you’re much more aware of feedback and can attune to it and respond to it faster
