How to talk to friends and family about climate change
by Cfitter · 7 things on NewTwos
- Tell your story. Your feelings, thoughts, and experiences matter more than any stat or fact ever could
- This ^ means being vulnerable
- Ask open ended questions like "what can we do about that?" Or "how might we change that?"
- Ask them how they FEEL about the climate. Not what they think - how they FEEL
- Time the conversation well when everyone's feelin alright
- Better to have a friendly, interesting convo than to "get" anyone to a certain conclusion
- These are my excerpts from this article from Greenpeace
