- Finances
- I've used my method of tracking my finances for many years. Over time, I've honed my process. My best advice: create a spreadsheet of your annual as well as monthly outgoings and plan your expenditure accordingly.

- Use a mechanism to track your finances. A spreadsheet, an app, whatever works for you.
- I use Snoop
- Reconcile your finances every day! It might sound like overkill but keeping on top of things takes minutes.
- Create an annual financial spreadsheet documenting all your outgoings for 12 months.

- Shopping
- We are utterly hopeless at shopping if we freestyle it! I compile a list as things occur to me. I shop once a week, at the most, on either a Tuesday or Wednesday evening when the supermarket is quiet. I never shop at the weekend.

- Milk
- Bread
- Cheese
- Chicken seasoning from Asda
- Noodles packs about 6 packs
- Red pepper, long pepper, tomatoes
- Blueberries, strawberry, banana, apple grapes
- Frozen Pizza

- Menu
- Shopping ties in with menu planning. Again, we're not the best at this when we wing it. I do sometimes plan the menu before I shop but, mostly, I make the plan using the till receipt based on what I bought.
I also assign certain foods to specific days - it helps remove some of the decision making.

- Birthdays and Anniversaries
- I like to check upcoming birthdays at the end of each month - makes sure you catch any early month birthdays or anniversaries.
I note them down in Twos and set a reminder to buy cards and/or gifts.
- Check upcoming birthdays and anniversaries
- Remember to buy cards/gifts

- Cleaning
- I find a strict schedule for cleaning doesn't work for me. Other commitments get in the way and then I'm not up to date. I prefer to keep a running list of tasks I need to do - a few are scheduled but most are reminders to complete tasks when I have time.
- 🧹 Cleaning List
- ✓ Change the beds
- ✓ Clean toilets
- ✓ Clean toilets
- Mop kitchen and living room floors
- ✓ Hoover upstairs
- ✓ Hoover downstairs
- Dry clean curtains

- Backup Twos
- I do this once a week on a Sunday. I send my backup to Obsidian - it’s easy to export as a .md file. I simply select my iCloud drive and save it to the relevant directory.
