- Capture everything, record date of capture
- Begin each task with a verb (action)
- Follow the action (verb) with details
- Ensure that each project has its own task list broken down by priority
- Add the next action necessary to move the project forward to your daily task list
- Organize your tasks by due date, priority, workflow, or energy level
- Determine the 3-5 most important tasks for each day
- Set due dates, add reminders, create notifications (or snooze notifications) as needed
- Cluster similar tasks together
- Share a list when you are collaborating with others
- Revise your list as needed (some tasks can be flexible)
