- Each player gets 6-power ups to use throughout the match (18-holes)
- Banana Peel: throw your opponents ball backwards
- Mushroom: get a second shot of your ball (mulligan)
- Squid: blindfold your opponent for one shot
- Red shell: force your opponent to re-hit
- Star: you can tee up (from anywhere) for one shot
- Lightning bolt: force your opponent to play with his putter for one shot
