Twos App Is the App You Need to Organize Your Daily Life (Scot Krueger, Medium)

- If you have read any of the work I have published before, you know that I love productivity apps, and recently I found the Twos app.
- I wrote the other day about how I am using the Twos app for my daily journaling practice.
- After spending more time with the Twos app, I have found this to be more useful than I originally thought. This app is becoming my go-to app for everything I need to remember throughout the day.

- About Twos App
- This app allows you to remember things quickly. I liken it to the Drafts app when it comes to entering whatever comes to mind.
- It can be a quick note, a to-do, or a list.
- The app is designed around daily lists. Every day you get a blank slate to write whatever it is you need to remember.
- One of the smallest features is one of my favorites. Anything that I enter into the app gets a timestamp of when it was entered, so not only do I know the date I entered it, but I also know the time that it was entered.
- The speed of Twos is where the app shines. Like the Drafts app I mentioned earlier, you can jot down a note quickly. This is noticed even more when you use the widget on the home screen of your iPhone.
- Tap on the widget and the app opens, ready to feed it the things you need to remember.
- You can use Siri to remember something while you are on the go. Ask Siri, “Remember Something” and it will make a note of what you asked it to remember.
- The only drawback is when I want to set a reminder. If I ask Siri, “Dinner tonight at 6 pm” it will create a note with those exact words, and I will need to go back and manually change it to a task.
- From within the app though, it is great. By using NLP, or Natural Language Processing, from the terms used in the wording, it can determine if a reminder needs to be set and will ask if you would like to set one.
- Task management within the app is good, but not as powerful as a dedicated task manager. I do think that is perfect for the casual user that needs to be reminded of the occasional task.
- If you like to time-block, then you will love the ability of Twos to make a task that can be added to your calendar through calendar integration.
- Right now, I have used it with Google and Outlook calendars.
- If you manage projects, the Twos app does a great job. Create the notes and tasks together in the same list, and keep everything about the project in the same place and neatly organized.
