- Place to eat
- El Rey Kebabs
- One of my favorite meals on earth. $6 kebab combo comes with a lamb kebab the size of your head, fries, and a beer.
- La Finestra
- CHEAP mini pizzas, don't ask for a specific kind - just how many you want. Cheap small beers too. Very local. Expect to be looked at when ordering for being a foreigner (but so worth it)
- Fornelino Bakery
- Local and delicious bakery that will likely have a line out the door (it moves fast though)
- La Papardella
- Really good italian food. A little more swanky/expensive so great for parents.
- Kaikaya Sushi
- Very fresh fish in a super popular/dense area. Although the most expensive restaurant we ate at (which was still only like $30 each haha). Don't go necessarily for the food, but do go for the area it's in.
- Cafetería Castillo (Cafe)
- A wild combination of asian food, spanish tapas, and drinks. Very cheap and a lot of options. Close to the University of Valencia and Mestalla.
- Quiosc La Perogola
- Sandwich place inside of the rio. Very tasty and quick.
- Volotereta Restaurante
- Never been but looks like great Asian food. Gyoza, duck croquettes, etc.

- Bike Tours by Daniel
- Highly recommend booking a bike tour on AirBnb. You get to see a majority of the historical landmarks as well as the Rio etc. Valencia is very bikeable.
- Museu de les Ciències Príncipe Felipe
- In this area is the Valencia Aquarium. Buying tickets online is pretty easy (and let's you skip the line) and you should go before 2pm because it takes about 3 hours to see everything.
- La Mestalla Stadium
- Valencia CF home stadium - tours are great (look up the schedule online)
- Plaça de l'Ajuntament
- This is one of the main plazas in Valencia. Surrounds a cathedral and has a lot of shops/bars around it. Typically going to bars close to a plaza will be more expensive.
- Bars
- La Café de las Horas
- Super old/historical bar to get agua de Valencia - one of my favorite spots
- El Cafétin
- Great outdoor seating STRONG Agua de Valencia - the customary drink
- L'Umbracle
- Outdoor club only open during spring/summer - but regardless really beautiful architecture you should try and see.
- La Pau coffee shop and bar
- Much more grungy bar/coffee shop but much more authentic. On the street I used to live on.
- Portland Ale House
- American bar where they will play NFL games (if they're on) and good comfort food
